Hi friends, welcome back to Cloudbites. Today, I’ll be recommending 5 mini AWS Cloud Projects. These projects can be built quickly and you can add them onto your resume or portfolio to showcase your experience.
🎯 5 Mini AWS Cloud Projects to Build (Beginner to Advanced)
- Host a website on AWS (Beginner): Web-hosting is a fundamental use-case that every Cloud Engineer or Solutions Architect should know. This beginner-friendly project will guide you through setting up a personal website using Amazon S3 and connecting it with a custom domain through Amazon Route 53.
 Est time: 30mins - 1 hr
- Visualize Data with Amazon Quicksight (Beginner): In this project you’ll be visualizing data through charts and dashboards using Amazon S3 and Amazon Quicksight. You’ll be drawing from a dataset of 50,000 best-selling products on Amazon.com.
 Est time: 1 - 2 hrs
- Integrate Amazon Lex ChatBot with Facebook Messenger (Intermediate): In this project you’ll integrate an Amazon Lex ChatBot with Facebook Messenger. You could use this to create a customer service chatbot, a booking system or even a trivia game.
Est time: 2-3 hrs; depending on the complexity of the chatbot
- Fortune Teller Application (Intermediate): This project is a fun one - you’ll be creating a "Fortune Teller" application using AWS Lambda, that answers "yes", "no", or "maybe" to user questions.
 Est time: 2-3 hrs
- Multi-Tier, Highly Available, Fault-Tolerant Web Application (Advanced): This application features a VPC with 6 subnets, and internet gateway, an S3 bucket and a few other AWS services. While this is a more advanced project, AWS has a step-by-step tutorial explaining how to build everything.
 Est time: 4-6 hours
