Google has launched Nano Banana 2, the latest version of its image generation model. It’s now the default model across the Gemini app, Search, Lens, and Flow.

💡 Here’s what you should know:

  • Nano Banana 2 generates more realistic images and works faster than the previous version.

  • It supports image resolutions from 512px up to 4K, across multiple aspect ratios.

  • The model can maintain character consistency for up to five characters and track up to fourteen objects in one workflow.

  • It handles more complex prompts with richer lighting, sharper details, and better textures.
