Hi friends, welcome back to Cloudbites. Today I’ll be giving you the rundown on OpenAI’s first ever DevDay where they discussed the future of generative AI and additional updates to ChatGPT.

⚡️ The Future of Generative AI - Building Custom GPTs

Exciting news! OpenAI has just launched a new feature where you can create your own version of ChatGPT. This means you can tailor ChatGPT to do things you need, like helping with learning, creating art, or assisting at work. 🙌

Do I Have to Know How to Code to Use This?

No. 🙅‍♀️ Creating your own ChatGPT version is as easy as starting a conversation, giving it instructions like searching the web, making images or analyzing data.

When Do I Gain Access to these Features?

For those using ChatGPT Plus or Enterprise, there are already some custom versions to try out, with free users gaining access soon.

Creating a GPT is now accessible to all, whether you're a teacher, a coach, or someone who loves building helpful tools. You have full control over what your GPT knows and does.

What’s the Future of Customizable GPTs? 🤷‍♀️

Going forward, these GPTs are set to become more advanced, capable of handling real-world tasks. If you create a popular GPT, you might have the opportunity to earn from it.

Later this month, Open AI will be launching the GPT Store, where GPTs become searchable and may climb the leaderboards. Following this, you’ll also be able to earn money based on how many people are using it. 💸
